1. If there is no snot and/or food slobber on my shoulder, it's just because he isn't awake yet.*
2. The carpet is no longer visible through all the toys and various household items strewn about.
3. Anything that cannot be done with one hand is not worth doing.
4. If there is a lap, it must be sat upon. This especially includes while the lap is over a toilet.
5. Any and all laundry must be folded at least three times, because it's just so fun to throw around after the first couple times. You wanted practice folding, right?
6. The shoes 3 sizes too big are the ones he really needs to wear. Obviously. They make these great clomping noises when he walks.
7. Cupboards and drawers were made to be emptied.
8. The day of the week and the date are generally unknown and of no consequence.
9. The carpet needs vacuumed 3 times a day. (Note: It actually gets vacuumed... once in a while. Ok fine, truthfully, I just hope the dog finds all the goldfish crumbs once Isaac is in bed, because this results in a happy doggy AND a clean floor, and requires no energy expenditure on my part. See? Now that's a Win-Win-Win!)
10. Any cup containing liquids will be promptly emptied, and its contents will be splashed in, cars run through it, and finally dripped all over the floor, because that's how we roll here.
11. You will miss this stage someday. :)
In this picture, he is barking at me.
Because that is the game we were playing.
We were barking at each other.
And there was much giggling.
*Actually, his nose is MUCH better these days! :)
I absolutely LOVE it. That should be posted around other places because that is perfect. :)
