Nothing exciting lately to blog about. Just usual stuff.
Isaac always says funny stuff. Conversations like:
J: What did you do today?
I: Oh, nothin'.
J: Who did you play with?
I: Fine.
J: What? Ok... Did you play with Abby? (One is his good daycare friends)
I: She not here.
J: Where is she?
I: Abby workin!
Or, before dinner:
"We need to pway." (folds hands) "You go firss, John!"
"You break your arm when Jesus comes back." (I have no idea what he is talking about. Probably something really mixed up from Sunday school and... who knows where.)
"I need to go to hossi-piddle."
Why?
"I'm too sick." (withers pathetically, and clutches belly. or... some other random body part)
(Usually this happens at bedtime)
Wet's go to the baby store!
The baby store? What are we going there for?
A baby brother.
(Awww... I wish. Hurry up, Holt! We need a baby brother!)
(Waiting for me outside the bathroom)
You done, Mommy?
Yep. I'm done.
Ok! Shake it off! Let's Go!
Isaac frequently requests to "See Aunt Aimer in the 'puter". (sk*ype) I thought maybe, the way he worded it, that he thought she lived in there.
So we asked him "Where does Aimer live?"
To which he replied, "McDonald*s."
Huh? (I don't think we've even been to McDonald*s with Isaac, let alone met Amber there...)
But then John figured it out. "You mean like E-I-E-I-O?"
"Yeah... (singing) Old McDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O!"
True. Amber lives with Grandpa and Grandma on the farm.
Apparently,
Old McDonald's Farm. :)
(Approaching the cul-de-sac in the car)
You found it! Good job mommy! Good job driving! Go, go, go mommy go!
(Pulling into the cul-de-sac)
We made it! We made it! Good job, Mommy!
(Chanting/singing) No more diapers- Underwears! (repeat this about 20 times)
